But it maintains that it’s entitled to discipline any of its member institutions that violate its rules. One guess as to who that member school is.
The Missouri player got his TRO against the school because of these rules. The judge granted the TRO and said the school could not withhold any NIL or Rev share deals that were in place.
Why does the SEC think LSU can violate a court ordered TRO or temporary injunction after tomorrow, without any legal jeopardy. This all boils down to exactly what Lane said: how can you pick and choose what TRO's you are going to obey?

LSU isn’t a party to that suit and the TRO wouldn’t be against LSU. It’s under no obligation to enroll a student, roster him, play him, or pay him.
Oh and that Mizzou case? Apparently the player was already on the team somehow. So that’s a different situation.

LSU isn’t a party to that suit and the TRO wouldn’t be against LSU

Surely you did not.
Here is how. One guy is most likely to be 18. The other is 22+. But the main reason is the amount of training, nutrition, and practice they receive. One has 2-3 years of high school level instruction. The other has had 4 years of college nutrition, strength training and practice and a summer of NFL level instruction and training.
The fact you asked that question is amazing.
Even in high school they have different classifications based on school size in the spirit of fair competition. And you are arguing that it is fair for high school players to play against NFL players.
LSU should be kicked out of the SEC for you asking that question.

I feel you may have overlooked the fact that no one is saying NFL players should play in high school.

If this happened in court I’m sure they asked the judge to enjoin Mizzou at trial. Which made them comply with the order.
