You say that, but I think there a lot of Arkansas fans who honestly believe that. Or maybe they are just trolling hard. That was certainly the narrative Saturday night.
I'm sorry it ended that way. It sucks to lose like that.

Probably beating your husband as the balled rolled backwards...

Doesn't matter. Not everyone stopped. Players from both teams were still going after the ball. By saying, "not everyone pursued the ball, therefore the play is dead" is totally made up bullshite. Pulled right out of thin air.

I'm talking about physically recovering the ball. They physically recovered the ball. There was an Arkansas player laying on top of the ball.
Here's the thing, any fan of any team would be furious if the same thing happened to them. Au fans included.

Probably. And we have been fricked by many a bad call. But that doesn't change the outcome of the game, ever that I am aware of. The refs get scolded and that's about the extent of it.
I don't see any Auburn fans claiming the 2019 Basketball NC because we got fricked royally on a bad call.

Why would the replay official be suspended for getting the rules correct?
They incorrectly ruled that it was a forward pass.
If there wasn't an immediate recovery at the whistle, the ball is dead where it is...which was the Arkansas 29.

It was a fricked up call and they totally botched it. No doubt. Hell, I called it out the second it happened. But our guy that was close to the ball made almost zero effort once the whistle blew. You can not say what would have happened if that whistle didnt blow.

How is it a recovery after the whistle blows? That is called " picking the ball up to hand it to the ref". Once the whistle blows, the play is over. Period.
Whatever happed after that didnt happen. It was a absolute blown call but once he whistle blew, people stopped playing
They don't want to hear that. Hormonal women are rarely logical.

And this should have been corrected in the replay booth.

If Colorado didn't lose a win they got on a 5th down that allowed them to go on and win a part of a national title they aren't reversing a game between 2 mediocre teams 3 weeks into a season. There were 59 other minutes you had to avoid being in the situation of 1 bad call costing you a win. If we lost under these circumstances I'd never carry on like this, it's unbecoming as a fanbase. And using recent history as a gauge would Auburn have felt a need to pay off refs for this game? Let me guess we also paid off elevator techs to make the elevator fail when Bert's fat arse got on it years ago too? I've never seen a collective group of sore losing pussies in my life. If you're calling for a suspension I'd start with your special teams coach

This does not matter. We are not dealing in hypotheticals.

How would they have done that? Are you saying they should have given Arkansas possession even though the whistle stopped the play immediately after the spike?

If the first Arky defender that touched it simultaneously with the whistles recovers it, Arky wins the game. He pooched it 5 extra yards instead and allowed 2 seconds of whistles to blow.

Forget the whistle. Forget the "immediate recovery" discussion.
Even after review they ruled a backwards pass as intentional grounding

I'm gonna throw something crazy out there. What if the sec office came out and said we can't reverse the call and award Arkansas the win but we can let yall play again. Would Au fans and Arkansas fans be up for it?
Not that they'll do that just an interesting thought.

Exactly. That becomes a live ball that Arkansas recovered. I don't give a damn about the whistle. It's irrelevant.
