I don't see him ever going back to the NFL... besides why go, just to end up quitting on another team.

Depends on if he wants to be known as greatest coach at the college level or if he wants to test his mettle against someone like the Patriots coach that he idolizes. NFL is the highest level to be a success. Being the best college coach ever is tantamount to being the best AAA baseball coach.

Pffffft, pro players won't tolerate his methods/antics... see Miami Dolphins as exhibit A. He is a tremendous college HC but won't translate to the NFL.

Nah, coach K and John wooden are held in higher regard than red Auerbach and they've never coached a game in the nba. Saban couldn't care less about the NFL. A gm, owner and president to have to go through for any decisions?? Yea, right.

Keep hoping though.

Rumor according to who? I can't find anything and the NFL network didn't show him on possible list of candidates but I could have missed it.

Link to rumor would be good. Is the source credible? Is it Adam schefter?

Thanks for giving us the credible source who is saying this. The info will be appreciated.

He won’t be able to win without superior talent, his coaching skills are drastically overrated

Saban knows he can't handle the NFL. There is no way he tries that route again. Besides all the players can afford Chargers there.

I'm hearing from my Texan sources its going to be 14 years 1.8 billion plus 51% of the Colts ownership. Plus infinite Deep Fried Chicken.
