You’re getting embarrassed. Might want to call it a day

Maybe. We'll see Saturday.

Damn. I bet you're a lot of fun to watch a game with.

Same when I watched Greg play in 2009. So did the head coach, which is why he refused to let him do anything other than the safest of safe plays until a game in which they had to give him rope and hope for the best.
I say all this not to imply Milroe is awesome - he's at best a work in progress right now, and the time for that work to progress is running out. If he looks lost on Saturday then I'm not sure you can stick with him out there. If he looks improved, there might be some light in the tunnel. Hoping for the best but not necessarily expecting it.

You're hyper focused on GMac. I'm not.

Well this isn't the game. It's a discussion board.
Who are you picking?

haven't referenced Milroe's stats one single time. I don't give a shite about his stats.
I was speaking more in regards to you championing these other Bama QBs who struggled as much or more than Milroe, then SoG presenting horrid stat lines of these QBs, and then you saying that he cherry picked them.

I never said they were always great. In fact, I never said they were always good but I can tell you I never once watched any of them and said to myself "That's a shitty football player".
Second game in and I was already there with Jalen Milroe.

When he drove down the field and took the lead against Texas in the 4th quarter, he looked pretty good. Milroe has started, I think, 5 games. There is a chance he can/will improve.

There's a chance.

I distinctly remember listening to Bill King on Sirius one morning in 2009 on the way to work, maybe about UT game part of the season, and the discussion came up about the Heisman and literally the talk was who was more deserving, Mark or Greg?

You are right. Stats are silly. Who would ever use them to evaluate a player?

They're a part of it.

I am assuming Milroe is playing.
No one at Bama is denying the rumor, yet! I'd like to hear a denial soon or I'm going to start thinking it's true.

It’s amazing it takes a Texas fan to say this and our own fan base won’t admit it.
He had flashes against Texas but not enough to put it together. I personally think he was better against Ole Miss and then again against Miss st. Not perfect but gradually better. He’s our dude, take it or leave it.

He may be a shitty QB, but he's pretty far removed from being a shitty football player. And it's pretty clear we have no other good option right now.
