In all seriousness, this is just a season in hell which was not unexpected
They definitely expected to beat Vanderbilt and should’ve.
#1 most talented team vs the #50 most talented team.
Losing to Tennessee? Sure. Giving up a 28 point lead to UGA? Sure. All of that is normal.
Also losing to Vandy? No. Don’t give me this “Vandy is a good team” BS. They’re Vandy. Vandy isn’t going to be a contender, ever.

To Alabama the beautiful.

I mean what is the big positive of living in Alabama?
1) It's not Louisiana

This team acts like they have been let out of jail now that Saban is gone
DeBoer is going to have to find a way to rein them in
Totally agree with the quoted portion. I really have no clue how good a coach he is because I haven't seen any coaching yet. My opinion doesn't matter - but my opinion is that he is in over his head

I would hate living there too.

It's not the best. I prefer living in Colorado over living in Alabama or Georgia.
That being said, if Louisiana is hell then Alabama is heaven.
I don't get the living in the desert thing. Colorado is partial desert at least, and I'd rather golf and fish than ski. Plus the roads are so dangerous on the mountains with no guard rails often. Can you imagine having teenagers in Colorado and worrying about them driving around on the weekend?

Colorado teenagers know not to drive badly in the mountains. It’s people from out of state who learn the hard way

royalty marry their cousins like crazy
Prince Philip was Queen Elizabeth's third cousin
Prince Philip was also first cousin (I think) to Tsarina Alexandra, wife of Tsar Nicholas of Russia, and Tsar Nicholas was Queen Elizabeth's 2nd cousin I think

I have a cousin whose boyfriend’s sister’s fiancé works in real estate as an agent’s assistant and I’m hearing that DeBoer’s wife is looking at houses in BR.

I hope no one judges Alabama on Decatur

or for that matter, the Village in Prichard, AL. That is a 3rd world shite hole.
I used to live there though when it was lilly white in the 70's. Very nice then but definitely not now.

LSU fan. Born in Zachary, grew up in Shreveport, spent a lot of time in New Orleans. Went to college in Tennessee and have lived in NW Alabama for 15 years now. I do love it here but I liked Tennessee better and Shreveport last. I was only in Zachary a short time so I can't compare it. Food in Louisiana is 10 times better but for slow paced, quiet, and peaceful living, I love NW Alabama.
Like anything else, it's all about the people you surround yourself with.

My wife and children wouldn't be happy if I moved them from Seattle to Tuscaloosa either.
