This. Hell, bama has quite a few kids on the team from the greater Baton Rouge area that likely have friends or family that have lost everything.

Alabama and LSU have pretty close bonds as programs - between the coaches at Alabama with close ties to LSU via their schooling or coaching there, a lot of players from both places that grew up playing eachother, etc.

It's hard to describe the extent of the devastation here. Fortunately, I didn't flood, but so many people have lost so much. And most people who weren't affected are doing what they can, but it's still overwhelming. So thanks to all those from outside of the state coming to their aid during this time. Rivalries on the field, but brothers off of it.

I thanked my mom for saving our cars because we were sleep at midnight Saturday when she called me to check and see if the water had risen. Our apartment faces a lake and is usually low so when I looked out my window, it was rising by the minute. The driveway leading to our section was filled from the lake spilling over at 1 am so
I came up with the plan to drive my car around back and go through the grass around the whole complex. Then I moved my wifes car to higher ground and evacuated to my parents house.

Good stuff! Still want Saban to get AIDS though.

This is bigger than football. Shout out to the University of Alabama program for lending a hand. Much respect for Saban and the entire program.
God, that was tough to type.

Fck Bama. This is all about recruiting. Saban is funneling gifts in the name of goodwill. He's a genius. The fence is down.

Our B-Ball coach sent over a tractor trailer full too.

A very special thank you to our very own Avery Johnson @CoachAvery6 for the semi-truck full of donations to assist Louisiana residents affected by the flood that are staying on Southern University campus.
It is a very emotional time but his kindness and generosity is very humbling. Thank you to all the Southern University Baseball, Basketball and Football players and coaches that helped unload the semi.
