#7 Buford and #10 Grayson are both Georgia 6A and will probably play each other in the state title game.
Grayson has a tough matchup Friday night at Carrollton.

USA Today crowns the national champion and they have Bixby at #18.

It’s not though, for other states like Georgia, Louisiana, etc the flagship school is the only show in town or is significantly more resources towards football than other schools in their respective state. Because of that they can have their pick and there’s serious pressure to stay in state (lsu). Texas has way too many serious football colleges and neighboring programs that recruit to lock down the state, and with NiL now it’s impossible.

Also, with so many "football factory" private schools that recruit from all over (Mater Dei, DeMatha, St John Bosco) even nationally (IMG, St Francis, Bishop Gorman, Aquinas), i think it would be better to have Top 25 public ranking and Top 25 private ranking.

You’re kidding yourself if you think those public schools aren’t doing the same

Not nearly as much as private schools that have tuitions/scholarships in the $20k/yr range with IMG around a mind boggling $60k/yr range. These factories have waaaay more out of area kids on their teams than local kids.
Sure the big public schools recruit illegally, but not nearly as much as those football factories.

Img is a different beast but I’ve seen plenty of players move across the country to play for Ga high schools.

MaxPreps has Bixby 16th for instance.
SI has Bixby at 21
The NFL has a rankings system that has Bixby at 88!
USA Today has a system that has them at 17
High school rankings put out by for-profit sources are inversely proportionate to the number of clicks & subs they get from states & geographic regions. Do what you will with this information.

These two ladies are pretty nice looking. Why is Wisconsin coach Luke Fickell in between them?

So many Texas teams producing all that talent, and yet A&M and Texas can’t capitalize on it (even with all their other resources).
8. Duncanville - 4* EDGE to UF soon to flip to a&m
14. Waxahachie - 4* S to A&M - dude is amazing
23. Prosper - 4* OL to a&m
Getting the best player on 3 of those 10 ain’t bad. Some of those schools are massive and notorious for having overrated players like Southlake Carroll and Lake Travis. Recruiting has moved nationwide and it’s best to diversify as well. There’s also the stigma that Texas players peak in high school because they’re well coached and don’t improve as much as players from other states
We also have:
6. Corner Canyon UT - 4* QB to a&m
7. Buford GA - 4* EDGE to a&m
11. St. Francis Academy MD - 5* CB to a&m
Plus the top guy on IMG FL is on our wish list
Our new main recruiting areas are:
1) Texas including LA
2) SoCal including AZ and UT
3) GA including some FL
4) lower level deep south players from MS/TN/AL
5) anywhere else there’s good players

My H.S. was terrible, but we once "won" a 7-7 game because at the end of a whole bunch of overtimes nobody had scored, but we had come the closest. Only game we won that year IIRC.
