frick, I knew he had been sick. Had the back problems back in 2007. I hung out with him on several games. This is horrible news.

As much as I love this time of year being able to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, I also hate it because of the reminder of how mortal we all are. Had a good friend lose her mother and grandmother in a housefire three days ago. Much like Steven's family, Christmas will always have this reminder.

Damn man I met him a few times and hung out at his house on New Years a few years ago. It's been about a year since I talked to him last and I had no idea he was sick.

That sucks. Thoughts and prayers to his family. Never easy to lose a loved one, especially at this time of year. My uncle lost his battle with pancreatic cancer the day of the SECCG and I know my mom and her siblings (along with the rest of the family) are in a funk this holiday season.
