RIP: Steven4bama

Wanted to let you guys know that the poster, Steven4bama, passed away this morning after battling an illness for quite some time. Many posters on the board got to know Steven personally over the years thanks to this message board. I met him back in 2005 when he hooked me up with a hotel room in Tuscaloosa for the 2005 LSU/Bama game. He invited me to tailgate with his group and we became friends. We began tailgating each year with him, home & away, for the annual LSU/Bama game. He also graciously hooked me up with cheap tickets to the huge 2007 LSU/Bama game. Each year for the Bama/LSU game he tailgated with lots of LSU fans, many of whom he became friends with after meeting through tigerdroppings. He stayed in touch with many of us during football season, often calling just to talk SEC football.

He was a very funny, kind and gracious person and will be missed. RIP Steven. Keep his wife, Cathy, in your prayers. Here is a picture of him (on the left) with his foreign exchange student.
