This game broke Tennessee’s winning streak against Alabama.

He also beat Auburn 31-7 in Jordan Hare in 2001
LSU 31-0 in Tiger Stadium in what was one of Saban’s worst defeats as a head coach.
34-14 against Tennessee

All things considered, that run in his two years at Alabama is damn impressive.

It took time but I understand why he left.

Much like Shula, I’d like to have seen the product without the limitations of scholarship restrictions and probation.

and for the record he lost to Auburn the following year by double digits in Tuscaloosa.... with a career 1-1 record versus Auburn

He is the only thing standing in the way of a 10 game losing streak to Tennessee.

Fulmer was the one HC who Shula got a rivalry win against.

Once Alabama got Saban, Fulmer and Tuberville got fired within two years.

2008 did.

After Saban beat Tennessee by 20 and Auburn by 36 - both were fired. They realized Fulmer and Tuberville had ran their course.

Postseason ban. Shame. Bama really has a history of violations.

And what happened the next season?... Auburn's 4th string RB ran all over Bama and chased the guy out of the state.

After Fulmer had dominated Bama more than anyone in history. Congrats on pushing him out after 16 years of ownership

He beat Spurrier twice in one season when Fulmer and Manning couldn’t.
