You are right though, mountain brook has 20k. That is a high median income for a place that size.

Madison is new money. Mountain Brook is old money.

But the real money resides, or at least spends its weekends, out in rural Shelby County not far from a little community called Sterrett. A good number of some of the wealthiest people in the state own “farms” out there.

Idk exactly what constitutes a town vs a city vs a neighborhood but highland park on a map appears to be an annexed town within Dallas. It does however have its own zip code, ISD, police dept., fire dept. etc

Highland Park and University Park are their own seperate cities, and both have always successfully resisted annexation by Dallas, but Dallas eventually grew all around them, leaving them as twin islands entirely surrounded by City of Dallas.

If you ever hear Dallas area folks talk about "The Park Cities", that's Highland Park and University Park.

It is impressive that 85% of adults there have a college degree.

No way the wealthiest town per capita for Arkansas isn’t Goshen.

And yeah, if there's a wealthy city than Highland Park anywhere in Texas, I would be very surpised. University Park would be a strong contender for the #2 spot.

There is an absolutely ridiculous amount of wealth in the Park Cities.

It's not Senoia.

I googled 5 other cities that have higher household incomes and there's probably more.

List is way off

Highland Park is on a whole different level of wealth compared to the rest of the South. It’s up their with the ultra wealthy neighborhoods of Manhattan, Los Angeles, Chicago’s North Shore and Palm Beach in terms of the volume of ultra high net worth individuals who reside there.

Mountain Brook has gobs of old Southern family money. Probably one of the largest concentrations of ultra high net worth individuals inside the coasts along with Highland Park, Cherry Hills Village (Denver), West University Place/Bellaire (Houston), Buckhead (Atlanta), and several north shore cities of Chicago.

Mountain Brook is loaded. Everybody in that city is a doctor, lawyer, or in Tech. Like a Beverly Hills in the middle of shite hole Alabama. I’m from Leeds I know shite holes.

Brentwood, TN has a median income of $160k, median home value of $682k, and average household income of $219k

Oak Hill isn't even a town, it's a part of town in Nashville. And it's not even close to as rich as Bell Meade if neighborhoods are now being called "towns"

Belle Meade as a median household income of $250k, an average household income of $409k, and a median home value of $1.9 million

Yep. No surprise at the top 3. I figured Dunwoody would be higher.

1. Milton $128,559
2. Johns Creek $122,514
3. Alpharetta $113,802
4. Decatur $106,088
5. Tyrone $103,929
6. Braselton $105,096
7. Peachtree City $101,121
8. Dunwoody $96,057
9. Suwanee $90,436
10. Flowery Branch $75,599
