You still have John Currie as your AD, the man who thought hiring Schiano in the first place was a good idea.

It’s based off the court testimony of another assistant. Believe it was the shower rape.

And no, failure to report a crime isn’t a crime. Actively covering it up is, but simply not calling the cops isn’t.

So, will they pay a buyout to get Schiano to leave and fire Currie too?

Buckeye fans don't have a problem with him. But again, they're a bunch of trashy fricks.

Man, I really don't care for UT, but even I hope this is true for your sake. I would rather Butch.

UT will end up with Les Miles.

Negative. Neyland turf is God-awful.

This should scare any coaching candidate.

I hope it scares every man who has ever looked the other way when a child, woman, or man was being raped by someone. I hope it goddamn terrifies them.

Wow, he was ok sitting silently by while children were molested but so thin skinned that he is afraid some hillbillies won’t like him.

Hillbillies tend to take justice into their own hands when it comes to fricking children.

As if you'll do any better anyway. If anything, the action of the rioting fans, same as after Kiffin left, will dissuade any decent coach from considering UT. It really is a dumpster fire in Knoxville.

Just go hire Les Miles and stabilize your program

This is starting to feel like an Unhire.

It's starting to feel like the pre-Saban Bama coach hire Fiascos. I keep expecting Mike Price to start flinging sugar packets and yell "It's rollin', baby, it's rollin'!"

Props to UT fans if they pull this off. Schiano would be a mediocre hire.

Give me a break. UT fans don't want the guy because they think they can do better. Ethics or morals has zero to do with it, but they think it's a good excuse to pretend so.

How is not calling the cops not "covering it up"? I don't know shite about Pennsylvania DHR laws/regulations, but I would think an employee of a state educational institution would be a 'mandatory reporter' re: child abuse.

Even if it is a smoke screen, if Currie had the wherewithal to engineer such a false flag, that is some mighty dangerous fire to be playing with. A fire like that can consume a career.
