Props to UT fans if they pull this off. Schiano would be a mediocre hire.

Please show us LSU fans how to do this. It’s only a year late, but you never know...

Give me a break. UT fans don't want the guy because they think they can do better. Ethics or morals has zero to do with it, but they think it's a good excuse to pretend so.

How is not calling the cops not "covering it up"? I don't know shite about Pennsylvania DHR laws/regulations, but I would think an employee of a state educational institution would be a 'mandatory reporter' re: child abuse.

Since Sandusky, PA has gotten much more explicit in the duties of mandatory reporting.

But this event originally occurred in the 90s. During the time from which Schiano observed and did not report, Sandusky also ran a charity to help underprivileged kids. How many victims could have been spared had he done the decent thing?

It's worth noting that the ONLY accusation he knew about Sandusky was from that ginger freak McQueery and Schiano denied it.

Any more?

but to have him be the one to back out instead of Tennessee shutting the process down themselves is just inexcusable.

It looks like the fan base is shutting it down.
