This tweet doesn’t even make sense. His sources are telling him lane is stepping down on Friday to take a job that hasn’t been offered to him?

Assuming that a hire is actually finalized in the next few days, the formal announcement hopefully is NOT made on Friday or even on Saturday before the Iron Bowl. If it happens before the game that’s the only thing ESPN, CBS, radio, fans, etc will be focused on. With everything that’s taken place this year, especially over the last four weeks, the AU players and the interim coaching staff deserve better than that. JMO
