Auburn boosters put the school they love so dearly into a lose-lose situation and set the program back for years to come. Outstanding

This shitshow is the gift that keeps on giving.

How pathetic at backroom dealings do you have to be to lose a coup against a coach with no pull, no power players in his corner and no ties to the school or region?
Good lawd Auburn's money guys are idiots.

Stupid to keep him after this imo. You have basically either revealed dirty laundry of and/or lied about an employee and then are paying him millions of dollars to run your program afterward.
Don't know if he will, but he could easily torch the program

Imagine having to announce that you aren’t firing your coach and he’s sticking around
What a shite show the barn is

Yea but if the affair didn't happen, what kind of precedent does firing him set? No coach worth a shite would wanna touch that job with a 10 foot poll. Auburn wouldn't be able to offer a competitive salary and you know that the boosters are a bunch of shady dickheads that will run a smear campaign to overthrow you

REC is clearly involved imho

As a Vol fan I would like to thank Auburn. We look downright stable now compared to you guys.

I don’t see us being competitive in football not only in the foreseeable future but for 5+ years down the line. Probably the darkest day in AU history from a football standpoint.

Everyone can have a laugh at this guy. He still believes in Harsin and thinks this is a tiny speed bump.

Auburn football is a fricking cockroach. Even if Harsin drops a nuke on it by signing a class without a dozen other P-5 offers between them y'all will just be back in year one under the next staff.

Who cares. I only care if Clesi will keep her job.

The thing is, he did a pretty decent job all things considered. But I get it, if your can't recruit in the SECW, your future isn't sustainable

This wasn't a booster generated coup. If it was it would have been a done deal? This started with disgruntled ex-players, coaches and AD Staff members and it took off in the press. The booster wanted answers and the University provide their findings. It wasn't about money or power. If anyone is to blame it is the outgoing President and how he reacted to the rumors.
