Unless there is some sort of net in front of those big windows right above the left field fence, those things are gonna get busteeeeeeeed quick.

They are not going to be standard glass windows.

I went up to Nashville back in 2007 to see OM play Vandy... On Friday night we lost in extra innings as David Price struck out ~15 and then we evened the series on Saturday when Lance Lynn damn near no hit you guys... Had a blast those 2 days... LOTS of MLB talent on the diamond that weekend... Cant wait to make it back up there for a series and see what yall have done with your park.

I know there is nothing that can be done about it, but the fact that the football stadium towers over the baseball stadium looks so bad.

It was the first SEC series of the year in March when I was there so it was still pretty nippy in Nashville... On Firday night a batter fouled one back... The ball ricocheted off the concrete of the football stadium, picked up speed and hit a guy in the shoulder... Poor guy was in a whole lot of pain.

Nice to see baseball teams upgrading facilities like Bama and MSU too. That SEC Network money will go a long way to keeping all the sports competitive.

LSU has recently built new baseball and softball stadiums and have almost completed tennis facility. How LSU didn't have indoor tennis courts is mind boggling.

Because they would definitely use regular glass there...

when I lived in Nashville (left in '02) I went to a number of vandy games, esp when lsu came to town. y'all have come a long way.

just curious, how many fans does the park hold now? is it usually sold out? are there any luxury boxes?

hopefully, y'all can continue your ascendency and more folks will get on your bandwagon.

Very nice. The next phase after this will include a new scoreboard out in left-center and premium seats on top of the wall in left field.

I'd like to point out, in case anyone missed it, that HRs will have to fly over the top of the of the glass. I was just thinking how easy HRs would be to left without the huge wall when I noticed the yellow strip around the top. That's a pretty unique setup.

They did in Maddox Field House. Not sure if they are still there.

Very nice. Vandy deserves a good stadium to show off their program.

UK's new baseball stadium plans are in the rendering stage, too but they haven't been released. Plans are for the Cats to occupy it in 2018.
