Last time I went to the Alabama LSU game in Baton Rouge was the screen pass game. I was 68 years old at the time,wearing a red shirt, and my LSU wife was 60 years old dressed in LSU colors. Leaving the game walking miles to our car at night a gang of young drunks threatened us, called her a whore, and more. Before that we hadn’t had too much of a problem except the thunderous, classy, “frick...Saban” chants and “STTDB” yelled en masse for the benefit of all.
But this year on LSU boards hundreds of internet warriors are physically threatening Alabama fans with beatings, kickings, assaults, and disgusting behavior. It exceeds anything I’ve seen at any other venue. It is approaching mob behavior and unfortunately some drunken fool will think to actually do the things threatened.
A few years ago two LSU coeds walked around in Alabama garb and video’d the reactions. It was pretty dam ugly. Here an experiment you can do if you want the truth. Don an Alabama shirt and walk around with your 10 year old for about 30 minutes. It might open your eyes.
Something is badly wrong in Louisiana...and I live here. Also the mods should not permit physical threats here.

I have not seen one threat of physical violence on here related to this game

Such a bullshite thread. StopRobot CANNOT wait to tell you about his horrible experience in BR, and won't admit it's everywhere. He's not trying to trigger anyone. He truly believes this only happens in one place.
My son's life lesson learned in Tuscaloosa: There are assholes EVERYWHERE. After he was berated by a drunk Bama student for wearing purple and gold, he learned another lesson. When the drunk kids friends hauled him off and almost beat the shite out of him for being a prick to a little kid, he learned not to stereotype a group because of one clown.
Take advantage of the opportunity to teach lessons about what the real world is like outside of whatever sheltered shithole you live in.
