Every single one? I shoot deer with a 30-06 core-lokt regularly and some come out, some don't. If you are always finding the complete bullet, you need to aim a few inches back and stop hitting the shoulder plate

A cat with a home is not feral. Also, the google says there are 76 million housecats in the US. That means that each one would have to kill 93 animals per year to hit the low end of your 7 Billion to 20 Billion animals killed per year. And that is assuming every single house cat is involved.
