As mediocre as Kiffin has been his entire career Golding is 1000X better he will have eclipsed Bear Bryant, Nick Saban and Vince Lombardi combined. Unlikely. What isn't unlikely is he will have been no better or worse than Kiffin has been which is on par with James Franklin....

I suspect we discover that is far truer than one would think, even if one is an Ole Miss super fan. Dabo is a pretty good example of coaches meeting with near generational talent. Hell Vince Dooley is in that club as well. There are BUNCHES of examples.

Has nothing to do with living in the past. It has everything with thinking that OM should probably at least make it to Atlanta one time for a conference championship game before thinking they are the top dogs in the sport. Hell even LSU has a West title in the NIL era
