The guy is a great athlete, but he's not going to get you there if he's forced to make the throws. Let him have some space, and he'll make you pay when the play starts breaking down. Teams know this and won't let him do it.

they're saying the same things about new quarterbacks in the league this year too. DCs in the SEC are pretty good and will adapt.

Mike Shula was fired last year as SCe’s OC after one year. Some speculated that he didn’t develop Sellers enough. He’s a whole unit but maybe the kid just doesn’t have it upstairs. Not sure anybody can fix him.

Yep Richardson I could see after a few games he couldn't read a defense but I refused at first to see Lagways issues even though they were there on tape due to those 2 big wins before defenses caught on. Lagway was getting away with being an accurate one trick pony on those deep throws with single coverage until defenses adjusted.
