Mathieu knew EXACTLY what he was doing, and deleted the tweet after he learned that Brady was micd.
If Mathieu was telling the truth, why did he delete the tweet? If he got called a terrible name eliciting his reaction, he should be happy that it was recorded for the world to hear. He would be vindicated. Instead, he retreated as soon as he learned there was evidence coming out.
The whole world was ready to rip Tom Brady to shreds. Thank God he was micd up

I'll give my take and I think it's the most likely scenario on what happened.
I think Mathieu was talking about the word bitch ,not the n word.i believe the reason he immediately deleted the tweet was because he realized that people would wrongfully assume that he meant that it was something racist.
Mathieu had a rough night on the field with his emotions getting the best of him. I know how the world is today ,everybody wants to cancel everybody, tom obviously shouldn't be cancelled because he never said something racist, badger shouldnt be cancelled for making a mistake, one that he tried to fix quickly by deleting that tweet. Both sides need to calm down on this.
I'm tired of seeing people rip badger to shreds over this,we have no idea what he meant and he deleted it anyway.
As far as the person, Mathieu isnt a bad guy ,at all. Look at what he does off the field. This man got kicked off the team at lsu . After being kicked out,he donated a lot of money to the area and the university. Most people wouldn't help the place that ran him off.
Mathieu absolutely turned his life around ,so much so that his story is told around the country ,he speaks to kids about the things you have to do to change your life for the better.
