Relegation should become a part of the system with the 24 team playoff

Match every Power conference with a G5 conference and develop a system where the bottom two or three teams in the P5 conference are relegated to the G5 and the top two or three teams in the G5 are promoted every year.
Give every team a reason to fight throughout the season. there are real stakes for every team, not just the top teams.

The SEC and Big 10 will eventually gobble up the remaining most valuable schools to each get to 20 teams in each conference. Find a way to separate themselves from any who are left out and literally become the NFL lite with their own post season.
Put 5 teams in 4 divisions in each conference and call them the big 10 and SEC instead of NFC and AFC. Division winners get in plus 2 wildcard teams, and replicate the 12 team playoff at is it currently just with this model.
This is where it is all headed. The SEC and Big Ten are the ones who make all the decisions and they clearly care about how they can make the most money and nothing else. This way makes them the most money.

Every team, regardless of where they finish in the final conference standings, gets an equal payout. But it's not a socialistic system. Socialism is un-American.
The American sports model is stupid, not the international sports model of relegation.
