Regionals are ESPN+ not SECN+

So unless your team’s game is on SECN or one of the ESPN’s, you’ll need a separate ESPN+ subscription.

I can't stand ESPN+ and refuse to buy it. Remember when having an ESPN subscription was enough and everything was on ESPN3? Whatever happened to that?
Absurd to watch what's essentially the playoffs we have to have some stupid subscription service.

I am not an ESPN fan. I think they ruined how sports are viewed. That being said..........I love ESPN+.
The wife loves gymnastics. You can watch every SEC teams matches.
The same goes for softball and baseball. I think a handful of Auburn's baseball games were not on ESPN+ this year.
If you are a fan of college sports, it makes life a lot easier, IMO.

I'm pretty sure everything you just described can be seen on SEC+, which doesn't require a subscription (assuming your tv provider has the SEC Network). I only subscribe to ESPN+ for one month each year (for the NCAA baseball tourney).

I only have an ESPN+ subscription. Everything else ESPN ends up on YouTube.

You would be wrong. SECN+ will show a very limited amount of games/matches...........but not all. I have both.

Right, but it shouldn’t require a subscription. I do not have a subscription and was able to watch every LSU baseball game this year. Minus the one tournament in Texas early in the season.

Oh, I am sure there is a way around paying ESPN+. I don't know what that is. Like I said............when it comes to gymnastics, softball, and baseball, ESPN+ carries basically every game from every Power conf.. It is great for fans of college sports. I am Auburn first and foremost, but a college sports junkie. We more than get our moneys worth over the course of the year. We get far more out of ESPN+ than the 300 and something channels we pay for every month.

Makes sense why it wouldn't be on SEC+. What if there were 13 ACC or B1G teams in with 8 hosting? Should those games be on ACC+ or the BTN equivalent
I doubt many Cornhuskers are have the ACC Network in their cable package (if it is even an option in Nebraska) or Binghamton, Central Connecticut, or Rhode Island fans have SEC Network in their cable package.
Any outrage about this is simply gatekeeping. NIL provides an opportunity for college baseball to grow, but it won't if I can't see my team play in the regionals or supers because it's on a network I cannot subscribe to.

The biggest reason..........this is how the NCAA makes their money on baseball. They don't make a penny on the gate until Omaha. The NCAA makes their money on baseball through TV contracts.

you have a chance of seeing your team on the ACC Network if you're in the Tallahassee, Chapel Hill, or Clemson regionals.
BTW, Being an old comes in handy because I'm familiar with the ins/outs of the invention called Radio. Not so much with a smart phone however, I'm not convinced it's not just a flash in the pan.

I ditched Netflix and went with the Disney bundle with ESPN+ and Hulu. That's the best deal moving forward. The articles that are worth reading on the ESPN home page are ESPN+ and with the extra games from small colleges that would never get coverage.....it's a deal.
