Kiffin has always been a good coach. I don’t know if he is a great coach but we will see

Kiffin could coach circles around BK.

The irony is that it was LSU fans who, all off season, told us that Lane ain't done shite....BK has a better record.....on and on they yacked.

Up until about a month ago LSU was sure BK was way better than Lane.

And after Lane stays at Ole Miss you morons will be back at it.

Well one Lane has proven he was a below average coach at his last two premier stops. USC and UT. Was good at Ole Miss, no doubt. So it seems LSU has a 1 in 3 chance he will be good.

Since the beginning of 2023, Kiffin is 6-3 vs teams that finished the season ranked.

LSU fans spent the last 3 or so years trying to convince us that BK was a better coach than Lane.

fricking awesome indeed.

What is Kiffin's best accomplishment as a HC?

Leading a team that lost double digit players to the NFL to the playoffs with a D2 quarterback then quitting.

Well yes, it might seem funny, but Kelly had ND in a natty and a playoff. Kiffin might be able to accomplish that this year, but so far, Kelly has better stats.

Moving the goalposts already are we? I will again reiterate the hypocrisy of this board who for four fricking years shat on Brian Kelly and now is magically trying to act like he was a good coach for us.

Y'all tried to act like he was a good coach for 2-3 years so it cancels out

Hardly anyone here was even considering that Kiffin wasn't a good coach until it starting to look like he was going LSU. Now all of a sudden he's not a good coach.

And the board suddenly has a new found intolerance for any coach who isn’t as pure as the driven snow.

All this proves is exactly why kiffin should leave. The talent at ole miss will never be good enough

Will you also tell us about him being the “winningest coach in CFB” or how he “already has 2 NCs” or “took over a mess and turned it into an SECW championship” in defense of him?

Yeah, he came to LSU and thought because Miles and Orgeron won titles here that one would just naturally fall into his lap.

Kelly didn’t work a quarter as hard as Miles and Orgeron did. That was his miscalculation, but that doesn’t mean LSU’s ceiling isn’t as high as any program’s in the nation.

If the guy is Kiffin with his acumen and he comes here and works his arse off, he will compete for national titles. /thread
