The egotistical Ole Miss athletic department threw yet another temper tantrum at the thought of the Sugar Bowl eclipsing their long coveted Taxslayer Bowl.

frick the working man, who will miss UGA vs ND today; all eyes have to be on Ole Miss and their best team since Jim Crow.

This is especially a middle finger given Mississippi is the nation's #1 welfare parasite, none of the rebs work during the day anyways, and could easily watch Lane inexplicably lose to Duke at 3 pm.

Probably has more to do with it being easier to secure a site in daytime hours than nighttime hours.

No. 2 Georgia vs. No. 5 Notre Dame (College Football Playoff quarterfinals — Sugar Bowl) | 4 p.m. | ESPN
No. 14 Ole Miss vs. Duke (Gator Bowl) | 8 p.m. | ESPN

They can't play both games at the same time on the same channel.

Strange melt.

How is this Ole Miss' best team if they've had a better record in 2 of the past 3 years?

you're the same person who fabricated the story about Kiffin throwing a fit so he could get the Gator bowl instead of Florida and then ran away like a little bitch when you were asked to provide proof.

Your melts are pretty unhinged.

The same OM that did not have one meaningful night game this year was able to get the sugar bowl to back down?

Would have been funny if Ole Miss got bumped to the 4:00 spot just to screw with Kiffin and his stance on not getting night games

I thought both teams playing in the Sugar Bowl asked to move it earlier in the day, but I can't remember if I read it from a reliable source.

I really doubt it was the Ole Miss AD and more like ESPN who would rather have two contiguous time slots rather than one split between two games. it's all about the money

Guarantee you Kirby pitched a fit because he wants every possible second to prepare for the next opponent.

Do you really think that Ole Miss could control this? More than likely, ESPN gave them some time slots and they picked one.

They actually asked for it to be played even earlier but that was denied. OP is completely full of shite once again.

Hey Pickle Weasel...

Ol' Miss isn't playing a B1G program.

i.e. You'll end up with bragging rights over Bama and the Gamecocks.

I am at work today and am recording the game. At least I can fast forward through the commercials. I am going to stop on the way home and grab some barbecue so I can go straight to the game and not have to cook dinner. I hope everyone at the game is safe!

The challenge in this scenario is putting earmuffs on and insulating yourself from any outside chatter telling you what the score is.

Harder than expected this day and age. I’ve been burned so many times in similar situations lol
