Saban wasn't coaching a team for a decade with the 5th most active players on NFL rosters either, was he?

well, plus, he's won more games and titles than any coach in the nation since he's been at Alabama. The point is that Kelly isn't a very good coach.

He’s bringing discipline back to the team. Will his Xs and Os match the SEC?

I think that's up to Denbrock and House for the next couple of years. They do well enough, they may both be head coaches by 2025.

He done well at Notre Dame with lesser talent

Let's be honest about a few things:

1) Notre Dame doesn't play an SEC schedule. ND tended to fall apart against bigger teams.

2) The talent discrepancy isn't that high

2015: LSU 8, ND 11
2016: LSU 5, ND 13
2017: LSU 8, ND 13
2018: LSU 14, ND 11
2019: LSU 3, ND 14
2020: LSU 4, ND 22
2021: LSU 4, ND 9

LSU Avg: 7
ND Avg: 13

BLG I would agree with you but he is putting together a top 3-5 class right now that’s incredible, and did very well with limited time this year on salvaging that class.

All the local recruiting gurus and high school coaches are loving him, not everyone loved Bebe or Les believe it not and both got lazy at the end.

He is incredibly smart recruiter, very organized, very professional, kinda like Saban in many ways. He brought with him his national contacts but has reset a lot of Louisiana relationships that were sour or stale which Les and Bebe had difficulty with.

He is less stubborn than both of them, seems less ego and more work. That combo has always excelled at LSU (Saban, early Miles, Arnsperger, etc. We do better with outsiders that don’t already have half of damn high school coaches mad at them etc. You may still steal a recruit here or there, but Texas is already a player in Louisiana now, faggies to some extent too, so there will be competition and this guy will start locking down players in 10th grade.

you are truly a special kind of moron.

Click this link and you will find the wikipedia list that shows Notre Dame was #23 in the nation from 2010-2019, with 71 victories. Add the 21 vacated games and you have a total of 92, which would place Notre Dame tied with Michigan State at #14, with 92 victories. You following? Because this is elementary level math.

#14 is one spot lower than Stassen's statistics for the Kelly tenure at Notre Dame, which shows they were at #13. LINK

What a dumbass.

And you failed.

Again.

That's 108 games played over a ten year period which equates to 10.8 games played per year. Who plays only 11 games a year?

Brian Kelly had almost 2 seasons vacated at Notre Dame. That’s why there are games missing.

I completely understand that, however, are we saying those wins don't count now?

We count Saban's vacated wins, do we not?

He's been told that three times now. He simply ignores it.

Like it would make a difference in the results.

Would actually probably make them better if they weren't counted.

I don’t care either way. I was just pointing out that was probably why there was a discrepancy.

Lol..so typical of the LSU bitches....
“.....but, but, but...A&M/Fisher did (fill in the blank)”. The post was an honest question and commentary about LSU and ND, and had nothing to do with A&M. Man, y’all are really obsessed.

A team that has lost more than twice as many games as they've won is in no world a "signature win." DelusionalU.

LSU has lost twice as many games as they've won? That's interesting, considering that LSU is the 12th winningest program in major college football.

Like I said, you're retarded.

I'm just baffled as to why you refer to a .739 winning percentage as "mediocre".

As evidenced by this thread, Alabama fans struggle mightily with numbers.

But Coaches like Miles(2 NC appearances) and Caveman could?

You're a fricking retard! He is the closest thing to Saban that we have had here since Saban. The most structurally sound coach since Saban has been here! Kelly has won everywhere he has been, LSU will be no different!

Don't lump all of them in with earlycuyler's retardation.

He has to unzip his fly to count to 21.

He'll win, and he may win big (natty). But he'll never be a great cultural fit for that program and he'll never have the level of control that Saban, Kirby, and Jimbo have at their programs with regards to school administration, boosters, media, politicians, etc. Given his age and temperament, either he'll get fed up w/ the BS, or the BS will get fed up with him. I'd put the over/under on his tenure in Baton Rouge 4.5 years...win or lose.
