Could be wrong but I would not rule out Zac Selmon having some interest here. He and Beamer are friends from their OU days and there have been rumors that Selmon pursued the Nebraska and A&M gigs.

He doesn't want to fire Beamer

Good news for SC fans. He wasn’t well received

Beamer is 2-0 with Gameday in Columbia. Why would anyone want to fire him right now? Because of 5-7 last year?

I dont know about all that. you're guessing just the same as everyone else. I am going to guess you didnt think we would beat UK, let alone blow them out.
I have paid attention to our recruiting the last few years and both lines are something he has addressed in it. When he got here the line was trending downward and he has started building it back through guys like Josiah Thompson and Tree

Is it a mess?
Making the announcement a day before Gameday is on campus and on the heels of a report about Taylor Edwards getting fired only creates speculation on possible NCAA punishment or questions about his health.
If neither are an issue and this is just Ray announcing his retirement, then yeah I'd say it's messy timing at best.

Not that its important or anything but it's always annoyed me that Jerry has the wrong damn arm up.

South Carolina should back up the truck and hire Vitello for AD/Baseball coach

Brian White - FAU's AD - is who I'd go after.

Glad the Gators took him off our hands.

For the love of all that's holy, let USC pull Stricklin away from UF. And Fuchs too.

The Cocks should look at Joe Alleva, former LSU and Duke AD. Hired a national championship coach in Coach O.
