all you seem to know about Clemson is the generic trash talk directed at all 'ag schools'. lol
Clemson two largest colleges are the engineering and business colleges so it is interesting at how much you bring up the ag college.

If you like that small town feel where the entire town knows your name than Clemson is for you.
If you like a larger city with much more to do, more attractions but you'll probably not be recognized when you go in the store to get your cigars than Carolina is the place for you

I don't agree there is much more to do in Columbia. I've lived in both cities.

There isn't a public university in America that condones hazing. The student affairs folks at every institution these days are your nanny state, multiculturalist Puritans who fear anyone having a good time, lest they forget to be outraged.
Greek life as it existed when I was in school is dead. Fear of liability and massive civil judgments have reigned in one's ability to be young, drunk and stupid.

Yes we do There is a med school campus in Tuscaloosa now that the 3rd and 4th years go to. If you don't count UAB which you should because it's the same system.

ETA: My grandfather played football there as a freshman. He wasn’t from the area. He later transferred to Auburn and graduated when it was called API.

You are using freaking ESPN as your barometer......in the college world series that had you guys as Carolina south.
Clemson is a great little college town in a beautiful area, some folks want bigger....who cares.my daughter went to Carolina ut seems so spread out and integrated in to the city, different strokes.

Clemson has had some sketchy, scary deaths/murders in recent history. Not surprising, considering their history with Tillman/KKK, etc, but I've read some ugly stuff about multiple deaths.
