Because I wasn't a coward and didn't report him.

I had some friendly things to say to him and didn't want him to get banned before I showed my gracious personality off.

Clemson. 100%. Much better setting. Small town. On a giant lake. I don’t like urban campuses.

USC. More tradition, better city (Columbia is not great, but it beats the heck out of Clemson), Clemson is the Auburn of their state.

Since you are actually civil on here, I will make this clear. Never said Clemson was sub par, just maybe below average or sub par for institutions in their own conference. While it is nice the SEC has some top flight academic schools it would be nice if some at the bottom of the SEC could bring their numbers up.

The problem on here, as you may know, is some Clemson posters on here are either alters or non alumni as they represent a Clemson education so poorly that if they did actually attend (and attain a degree as they claim) they do no good for the actual impression of Clemson alumni.

Also, they make claims like
Georgia Tech = Clemson
or
Harvard = Clemson

Which is clearly not the case. Either they need to get out more and see these others institutions or they need to stop drinking the Clemson Cool Aid and thinking no other school is good as Clemson when clearly there are better schools.

While some of my fellow SEC brethren may not be well traveled either, at least they are not on ACC boards posting that State is as good as MIT or Mississippi is as good as Harvard.

Does this make it clearer?

There isn't a public university in America that condones hazing. The student affairs folks at every institution these days are your nanny state, multiculturalist Puritans who fear anyone having a good time, lest they forget to be outraged.

Well, Pastides just stuck up for Muschamp, who all but came out and said he's down with whatever Durkin does. So, yeah.

Cracks me up how many Clemson fans post on this board. I've interacted with them at the CFP and, more recently. They clearly have wanton SEC-Envy.

Clemson is not subpar for the conference. Middle of the road, sure, but I wouldn't rank it subpar as you said. I have worked with a ton of UVA and VT civil engineering grads... there is practically no difference in the average grads capabilities between Clemson-VT-UVA-NC State-GT.

I would make the claim that for civil engineering, a field I know well, I would take the top grad from Florida, NC State or Clemson over the top grad from Georgia Tech or MIT. At worse, they are no better. There are diminishing returns on intelligence if you are in a field that has to actually interact with people.

Often the difference between the kids that are top of their class at a school like say Georgia and your average student at Harvard is the kids at Harvard were coached from birth to check all the right boxes and come from the right schools, or they were very motivated to obtain admission to Harvard. The difference in intelligence and capabilities in the real working world between those two groups is negligible in my experience.

thats not what he's saying.

people know where the university of south carolina is because its in the name.

its in south carolina.

there are a lot of people not familiar with Columbia. lol

You are right. There are tons, but that's not what he's asking.

Clemson just says clemson. People outside of the SE would have no clue it's in SC.

that said, people down south have no idea what states Dartmouth or Cornell are in.

See quite a few people making fun of Clemson people. After watching the fan day segment on "rolling with the tide " I believe I would just shush. Reminded me of a Johnny Knoxville movie. Lol

After spending time in SC, and without giving a shite one way or another about either school, I would choose Clemson.

There seems to be a lot of excitement and pride about Clemson, SC fans seem to be non existent.

Serious question. How many alters do Tillman have? Over/under set at 3.
