the coldest game I ever went to was the first SEC championship game in B'ham. Just brooootal.
Papa John's Bowl against UCONN after the 2009 season. Brutally cold and they ran out of beer at halftime because we brought 30k fans.

Panhandle of Texas is tundra. It’s the freezing wind off the Rockies that slices you to pieces.

I'm not exactly sure why Georgia had so few observations in 1985, but probably why they still do. It was definitely colder then this on Brasstown Bald during that same arctic outbreak in January of 1985. Based on Jasper's -14 at 1500' we can safely assume it was around -25F on at 4700' on Brasstown Bald, but again, KFCC is shitty about keeping observations.

And ran out of pizza by halftime along with the beer. Still trying to figure out how a damn bowl sponsored by a pizza joint runs out of pizza.

When did it hit -16 in Louisiana? We can’t drive here when it’s below 40, I can only imagine what the roads looked like that day
Way up there at the summit of Mount Driskill no doubt.

We've contributed to southern culture as much as anybody with our bourbon and horse racing.

Mizzou tips against the Illini tonight at 8 CT in the annual Braggin' Rights Game. Temperature will be -1 with a wind chill of -24. I'll be there. Glad we're talking basketball and not football!

Earliest I have ever left a game in my life. Beautiful day,sun out,but my gracious was it cold. Wind was howling. I won two tickets from a radio station so we went. I'll sit in rain, cold, etc for LSU but I wasn't about to freeze to see South Carolina vs Yukon Cornelius.

Coldest game I remember natty In Indy…at least outside.
Outdoor stadium I think was Richt’s first and only Music City Bowl.
Second thought…1990 Cocktail party was the coldest I’ve ever been at a game.
