Yeah, that's why I made the guy from MSU #1 on my list.
I figured this would trigger UGA fans, but some of you need to get a grip.
ETA No one in my family has attended college. So, joke's on you.

Well, I said at best. No one attended, that's not a shocker.
The MSU guy was coached by UF's current HC. And you've got a kid who has been absolutely horrible at no. 4.

yeah which means I should be dropping him down if this was all about UF and/or Mullen.
Did you watch the 2006, 2007, and 2008 seasons? 2 SEC's, 2 Nattys, and 1 Heisman trophy - Mullen can coach QBs. It's not like it's a reach to give him credit and say he'll elevate Franks' game. Franks was very highly rated out of high school and we all now know that shark banger and his assistant were terrible.
If anything, I thought people would accuse me of being a State fan. I'm just an SEC fan. I like all the schools, except Missouri.

Franks' game might elevate but it wont be any good still. The dude just sucks, you cant fix accuracy issues (2+ years into college) and not getting it mentally.
Franks reminds me of Brandon Harris to a T. Larry Fedora can coach QBs too, what did he do with Harris when he transferred there?
35 for 71, 346 yards, 49%, 1 TD, 8 INT; 72.34 RAT

When Fisher was hired, all of the photos of him on campus at A&M looked terrible. Seriously, he looked like he was in extremely poor health. His marriage fell apart, he has a kid with a serious health issue, and the great relationship he had with FSU fell apart. A fan wanted to come out of the stands and fight him. He had plenty of reasons to be stressed and unhealthy.
I'm just giving my observation. I'm not hoping something bad happens to him. But someone in bad health has other priorities, hence my concern.
If I'm wrong and he's OK and normal, then certainly A&M will be improved and has to be the favorite to take control of the West when Saban retires. A&M is the sleeping giant of the SEC.

About what?
So you really think Mullen is some type of Uber QB whisperer that could make Fitzgerald as Heisman candidate?
Did you watch what he did vs Bama,AU and UGA when he had Mullen?

Fair points. But this is why I said Franks is a risky pick and could easily be flipped with Fromm.

Fitzgerald is the king of tearing up shitty teams and disappearing under duress.
Franks is a bad player.
Fromm is way better than both.

Franks shouldn't be in the Top 10. He's awful. Fromm had a ridiculously better season and should be Top 2/3 at minimum.
Jim McElwain was known for QBs before he got to Florida too...and he did basically everything he could to avoid playing Franks.

I see your points but put that in perspective. You're talking about MSU and their supporting cast against the national champion, the national runner up, the SEC champion, and the SEC West champion. Is there a QB in the nation that played as difficult a trifecta?

All legit points. I disagree a bit, but can't put together an argument to suggest you're off base about Fromm. He was amazing last year. I just think not having the best backfield in the nation will hurt. He had two absolute studs last year behind him. That really helps a young QB.

No argument there, other than I happen to disagree with regard to how things will go moving forward.

He'll have a high level backfield behind him again, but that's really beside the point. You don't go 13-2 as a true freshman QB if you aren't a serious player, no matter who your supporting cast is.

Do you really expect our run game to suck now? It could hurt and still not drop him out of the top 2.
