Orgeron just can't get any respect. Sure, he struggled at Ole miss, but he has done a fine job at LSU. Are they there yet? No. But they seemed to have stagnated under Miles, but seem to be trending upward under Orgeron.

Stoops and Dino way to low.

But at least they know what's up with Mullen. Smart peeps.

I’ve defended Gus as much as possibly can but right now I can’t say he’s the 6th best coach between both conferences. His lack of consistency kills it for me.

Mack Brown at #23 seems a little low. I realize he hasn't coached a game at North Carolina yet but I think he should be in the 10-15 range at least based on what he did at Texas

I'm not sure Foster got 100 yards in his career vs Fla.

Not sure if you are just playing along as well but he was the OC for Tennessee while Foster was there, that was his joke.

Right over my head.

Ya think? Dave Doeren in the top 8?

Not sure...he seems like a good recruiter...I believe they've had 12 guys drafted the last 2 years.

Seems like he should had more on field success. He was a very hot name in coaching circles 2 years ago.

As for Taggart..If he could be ranked lower than last he would deserve to be there. This hire will go down as one of the worst blunders of all time. FSU was on top of the world just a few short years ago until their fair-weathered fans ran Jimbo out of town.

And he can't even out-recruit Mullen.

What are you basing this on? Surely not his coaching resume before Florida State.

I see many making these type statements about Taggart, but ignore the similar or worst records of other golden boy first year head coaches. Taggert, at 5-7, was no worse than Chip Kelly (3-9) or Scott Frost (4-8). P.J. Fleck was a bit better at 7-6. Yet you never hear that they don't deserve their jobs or will go down as the worst blunders of all time. FSU was not on top of the world when Taggert accepted the job. FSU was 7-6 with player personnel issues. Their QB was injured as well. For you I guess the other coaches get a pass but Taggert goes down as the worst blunders of all time. Biased much?

Yet still better than Odom and Muschamp

Based on what?

To act like any of the 3 outclass any of the other 3 is kind of nitpicky IMO. All 3 suck

Guy is actually a pretty good coach. They are not by any means world beaters but he gets a lot out of kids that are backups at best at most schools.

Cutcliffe way too low - he literally saved a program! He should be top 5. Look at Duke before and look at them now.

Mason too low - he's not supposed to be still coaching at Vandy, give the guy some fricking respect.

I agree with #1. They got that one right.

Clawson at Wake, Cutcliffe and Mason all have players who not a lot of P5 schools wanted and somehow find a way to win. They deserve way more respect than they get

This writer is a jackass. Mack Brown lower than Derek Mason? How does this ranking work? Do past achievements not count? Obviously not. Fuggin stupid.
