I was responding to a post, which was responding to an Arkansas fan calling Enos the best OC in the conference.

Using the Smith example wasn't ignorant, it was fitting.

I'm not saying you were being ignorant. I was pointing out how Smith from 2014 shows the Georgia fan's statement was ignorant. I am actually agreeing with eveything you are saying. My mistake if I wasn't being clear. Multitasking

I'm the Georgia fan that made the comment you're talking about I think.

No, it was the other guy that brought up "Arkansas delusion". He was one or two posts above your first post. I know you are an LSU fan

It's just the principle. I'd have us #5 or #6..and that's being very conservative. We won't be last.

Strangely enough I somewhat agree with this. Mullin is a good enough coach that he seems to get something out of what he has.

You really freakin want to talk about what Kiffin did with "obstacles"? Seriously. Try losing your top 3 WRs, top RB(3 of top 4 for exteded time/year) and tell me about how Kiffin overcame challenges. In other words, take away Derrick Henry(#s 3&4 at RB), Calvin Ridley, Stewart and Mulaney. You think Kiffy-Kiff would've led the 2nd best offense in the league?

This is just weird. I've now said 3 times I think Enos is really good and might very well be the best. The only thing I objected to was the idea that he is "clearly the best". Seemed like a rational position to me.

You left out the fact that Arkansas had a 4 year starter at quarterback in comparison to us having a totally inexperienced transfer.

Robert Foster was our #1 receiver. He was lost for the year against Ole Miss. Chris Black was supposed to be our #3 receiver but he never fully recovered from injuries. Cam Robinson was very banged up and playing at about 66% the first 2/3 of the year until the bye week. The year before we set school records with a guy at QB who was playing running back 18 months before.

Again, different challenges. And you act like Ridley, Stewart and Mullaney were everyday names before the season. Ridley didn't get to campus until July, Stewart was a very limited role player the year before and Mullaney was a transfer from Oregon State who had 500 yards receiving his senior year. Our WR group was looked at as wildly unproven and a liability. By the end of the year they were a really good unit that won us the national championship. Do you think that just sort of happened out of thin air?

Finally, no, we wouldn't have finished 2nd. We also weren't playing games in which we threw the ball 55 times and had to play from behind. The only game we did that we had about 600 yards against Ole Miss. If we had played the season out like that, the way Arkansas did, we might have had a "top 5 offense" yardage wise. We would have been a worse team, though.

I don't understand your argument unless you actually believe Dan Enos is the bar-none best OC in the country and/or Lane Kiffin is some sort of joke. Either position is asinine.

Ole Miss will have a better offense than LSU because Les Miles will be calling LSU's offense.

Allen was a 3 yr starter who was said to be not "SEC caliber". His production increase was, in part, because Enos put him position to succeed. We've all seen Kiffin lose his mind several times and veer off, completely away from Bammers bread and butter.

In the off season, that's where I'd have us. But I think when all is said and done we will be better than 5th in the end.

I think it will be a battle for 13th between you, Kentucky and South Carolina. Y'all lost your savior at QB.

So you are telling me two means SEVERAL in rebelise. That's how many games taylor started in '14 and that made him a returning starter for '15?

What does the starting center have to do with the LT situation?
