I will take it anyway I can get it. Two-fer.
Army beats Navy. Liberty gets to (further) one up SMU.
Life is good.

My customer IS the US Army, so obviously I'm biased. And my boss is at the game

I am an Army ROTC graduate. No tie to the Academy whatsoever. But I bawled like a baby when Army finally snapped their fourteen year losing streak to Navy.
So yeah, Go Army, Beat Navy.

Also real convenient you left out #12 kstate
You beat a team at home with an all-time SEC record long FG… that’s exactly what I mean by the ball bouncing your way almost every time this year. Credit to Mizzou for being in a position to catch breaks, but those breaks typically even out over time.

Best rivalry game out there.

Texas fan, here's my list.
1) Georgia - Two straight nattys is outstanding, best program in America the last 3 years and Kirby is young enough to keep it going for a while.
2) Alabama - Speaks for itself
3) Oklahoma - I put OU over Texas, they beat us this year and OU will be just fine in the SEC. Just note, though, OU's program is built on hiring assistants w/Oklahoma being their first HC job. That worked great in the Big 8 and Big 12, we will see if it works long term in the SEC.
4) Texas - If we win the natty, I will put Texas at #3 because frick OU. Long term, does Sark stay at Texas if he does get a title or does the NFL offer him a way out of the hellscape that is NIL and the portal?
5) LSU - Great program, great coach, not going anywhere
6) Tennessee - Big year for Heupel, will see if 2022 was the sign of things to come or a flash in the pan
7) Ole Miss - Kiffin can keep them competitive but will never win anything.
8) Auburn - Freeze can flat coach, can he win enough to jump into the top-5?
9) Florida - Sunshine Billy is in real trouble and probably won't make it. Still a great job for the next coach.
10) Texas A&M - Underperforming for 50 years, Elko won't change that.
11) Kentucky - Outkicks their coverage in football. I do wonder if Mark Stoops says no to the Iowa job when it comes open, though.
12) Missouri - Solid 2023, but program doesn't have the juice to do it year in and year out.
13) Arkansas - Legitimately should be higher on the list. Tons of passion and money, but keeping Pittman another year means they are not doing immediately what will be done eventually.
14) South Carolina - Just lucky to be here.
15) Miss State - RIP Pirate
16) Vandy - Baseball school that exists to provide the SEC with FOIA protection.

Again. Both 2-2 against common opponents. Too bad we didn’t get to play Florida, South Carolina, and Kentucky instead of Alabama, Ole Miss, and A&M.
Good thing, for Mizzou, that they didn't play New Mexico State either!

Considering the state of the program at the time they each arrived and also the difficulty in opponents each had to face, Freeze’s record is more impressive IMO.
If Freeze wasnt your schools coach now,I wonder if you would still hold that opinion? Freeze is a great coach, and make no mistake, Auburn will be a contender sooner
rather than later. He also lost 1 to 2 games every year that he had no excuse for losing. Lane Kiffin hasnt lost a game that he was supposed to win since he has been in Oxford, unless last seasons egg bowl would count.

Could you compare our worst losses this year?
We only have 2, so just your 2 worst against that.

OU will either be 3rd or 4th in the future and possibly next year . Texas and LSU will be fighting for 3-5 spots . OU is only going to get better and the new defensive talent comes in with the great wins we always have .

Missouri is a good team but to say their current and future trajectory is anything above 6-8 is just foolish . They have not proven anything to anyone . Their best win is a sub 20s ranked team and it doesn’t matter how close a loss is to someone it only counts if you win . Missouri has a history of being an average to good team . They will never be elite . They simply don’t have the tradition or recruiting base to do it . I know you misery fans are pumping your chests but you had a super soft schedule and it’s not going to be like that from here on out .
