2023 records:
Auburn: 6-6
Mizzou: 10-2

Yeah, just slightly.

MZ has one of the best pure coaching staffs in the SEC, and are improving their talent. Not just a flash in the pan

4. Ole Miss
5. LSU

Ive seen this posted a couple of times and really dont get it. They won head to head because our WR dropped a walkoff TD to win the game AT HOME. They ended the regular season 10-2 and are the underdog for their bowl. Their best OOC opponent was Tulane. Currently their on3 recruiting ranking is #20. Last year was #26. Last year they finished 8-5 unranked and were blown out in tiger stadium.

LSU finished regular season 9-3. The most difficult OOC opponent was Florida State at full health IN orlando. We are favored in our bowl game. Last year we played in the SECCG in Brian Kelly's first year (something Ole Miss has never done) and finished 10-3. Ranked number 15 to end the season. Current on3 recruiting is #12 (supposedly will jump to number 6 with relifords commitment) last year was number 5.

IF the bowl games go as the lines show LSU and Ole Miss likely end 10-3 with LSU ranked ahead of them. LSU CLEARLY was better last year than Ole Miss. Our recruiting is unquestionably better than Ole Miss.

In what way does Ole Miss have a better outlook than LSU?

Ole Miss ranks about LSU. Have you seen the LSU defense? They are honestly putrid.

Guess you don’t remember the NCAA camping out in Oxford for 4 years.

The probation causes Ole Miss to forfeit games going back to 2010… two years before Freez’s arrival. Obviously Ole Miss’ cheating ways are systemic and existed prior to his arrival as well.

Matt Luke held the roster together

So why didn’t you keep him around?

Currently. LSU likely ends up ranked above them after the bowl games. The current rankings is a product of the OOC scheduling. We challenged ourselves.

Last year wasnt even close.

Our recruiting is better.

This thread is above the trajectory of the program.

How can the school that has been more consistent, likely ends up outranking them in both seasons with their current head coach AND outrecruits them have a worse trajectory?

Lack of good coaching does that. You can have all the talent in the world and it means nothing without coaching. A&M proved that

Again. Both 2-2 against common opponents. Too bad we didn’t get to play Florida, South Carolina, and Kentucky instead of Alabama, Ole Miss, and A&M.

You couldn't even beat A&M with Fisher. AU is just not very good ...

LSU has been to the SECCG with our current coach. Something Ole miss has never done. Something TAMU hasnt done in the SEC and hasnt been to a conference championship game since 1998.

Our HC is solid. Our OC is solid. The DC is likely to be replaced. Something Kiffin had to do last year.

So Kiffin with a bad DC finishes unranked and goes 8-5. Kelly goes 9-3 likely 10-3 and is currently #13 looking at a possible top 10 finish if things fall a certain way.

Your HC is a bum that cannot win the games that matter. Your coaching is sub-standard at every single level. And the defense ...

We won't mention the defense

Well he won the games that matter to win the SEC West in year 1. Something your program has never done. And he did it in year one with a team that went a combined 11-12 in the previous two seasons.

Our offense is the best offense in the country

the defense

Will change out coordinators this off season.

Brian kelly with a DC that had to get fired- likely 10 win season and top 15 maybe top 10 finish.

Kiffin-8-5 unranked.

Literally the only argument for having OM above LSU in this is they beat us at home this season when our WR dropped a walk off touchdown.

We beat them by 25 at home the year before.

I feel like that cancels it out.

I see your anger about being an aggie is causing you to lash out.

Jayden Daniels is incredible. Im a big Jayden fan.

Jayden literally threw as many INTs as he did TDs in the year immediately prior to transferring to LSU.

This coaching staff will have Nuss or whoever comes in ready to go. They will be a step back no denying that but with a new DC and playing more complimentary football we will be fine.

I'm not angry. I actually think A&M is finally on the right path. I love the hires that Elko is making at A&M, and I love that character matters to the guy. Several of the players on the team and some of Fisher's recruits have been encouraged to leave.

A&M will be better for it in the long run. Nobody we've lost cannot be replaced. It might interest you to know that most of FSU's defense this year came out of the portal. There are more than 1300 players in the portal to choose from

You just have to be smart about it

In my opinion, our defense continues to be a question mark. And though I think Nuss is our future, he has not proved it.

Yet.

Hate to burst your bubble, but A&M would have very possibly beat Mizzou.

ESPN FPI rates A&M #14. Mizzou is #16.

They were 4-4 in SEC playing losing close games in all four to Bama, Ole Miss, LSU, and Tennessee with the latter 3 all being on the road.

Mizzou beat Florida by just 2 points at home. You beat MTSU by just 4 points… Memphis by just a TD. Let’s not act like y’all are some unbeatable force.

You had a great year. You took advantage of playing an easy schedule and won all the close games against all your mediocre opponents. Good for you. Mizzou is a perfect example of a team in which the ball bounced their way almost every time…. A&M had the ball bounce the other way every time.

There’s not much difference in the two teams despite their different records. Which is why all the efficiency ratings show that.

No way you just used FPI as a measuring stick. FPI is shite.

But cool, lets use it. That means we have a few wins against T17 teams.

Also real convenient you left out #12 kstate
