1. RB, Rakeem Boyd is legit
2. WR, Burks, Knox, and Woods are great, they just need a QB
3. QB, Franks is way better than what we had, not great or even that good though, QB at 3 speaks more on the team sucking arse.
4. TE, hardly any experience but Hudson Henry was highly rated coming out of HS
5a DB, I just put them here because they don’t suck as bad as the bottom of the list
5b DL, same as DB
5c ST, we have a ST coordinator now so that’s cool I guess
8. OL, god they fricking suck, but we have Pittman so they aren’t dead last
9. LBers, what successful SEC team has ever had 3 starting White Lbers and 2 of them are walk ons

I fixed that for you. We let MuLLLen take the underneath stuff to bleed the clock. The gators obliged and delivered us the win.

Is he the best? Nobody will know until the season is played.

Agreed

Throwing for 2900 yards and 25 TDS is pretty good for a first year starter.

Absolutely.

But has MuLLLen tapped the ceiling for Trask? Nick Fitzgerald didnt improve. It will be fun to see the season play out

If the SEC plays this Fall, Trask and Florida beat Georgia. I know it’s tough to swallow , but Georgia loses two this year —Auburn and Florida.

No reason to believe he will not be even better this year.

Mullen qbs often don’t get better as he is able to max them out immediately.

Bert dropped the ball recruiting

Bert didn’t recruit OL?

I remember sitting in the freezing cold in Tiger Stadium in 2015 and watching us get shut out the year before and wishing we had your absurdly massive offensive line to block for Fournette/Hilliard/Williams since we obviously couldn’t throw.

Only if they don’t rebuild the offense. I get the impression they will go with a more modern offense though, similar to the way LSU did, though not as dynamic.

Nope, so bad that Chaggies first year there were 3 walk-ons starting. After Pittman left, he hired the cum stain known as Kurt Anderson for OL who was essentially just Berts drinkin buddy. OL went to shite after Pittman left, that Oline you are thinking about was all Sam Pittman.

The 2014 game was in Fayetteville. But yeah that team was very physical, top 10 defense and should have gone better than 7-6. Our top 2 RBs, QB, like 3/5 OL and our top 3 TEs all played in the NFL from that team.

Our OL recruiting dropped off massively once Pittman left for Georgia. Morris didn’t even have enough to practice with a full 2-deep his first year.

Trask played well against pretty much everyone. He’s a good QB. He played pretty well against us -with 0 run game - and we had one of the best defenses in the country last year.

I’d take him over Fromm any day of the week.

Thanks, Nostradamus. What else does that crystal ball have in store for us?

Right. 2015 was the frozen beatdown at home. I honestly didn’t remember us scoring 14 whole points

They are pretty similar, imo.

Give Fromm a Cager, Hollomon, or Wims and he can damage a defense as good if not better than Trask.

But neither Fromm nor Trask create opportunities for themselves. They arent scrambling to break a defense. They arent a threat with their legs. If it is only on their shoulders without playmakers to put up points, go ahead and chalk up the L

Trask has more physical tools and higher upside.

Still don't see how he overcomes the Georgia D when the Gators are so overmatched up front. Honestly, that offense is overmatched at every position.

I’d love to hear your dipshit opinion on how we weren’t one of the best defenses. Burrow torched everyone he played moron haha — and y’all put more points on Clemson than UGA when we literally had 0 offense to keep y’all off the field.

Franks is going to fold like a cheap lawn chair. I give him about 4 games and he wont be the starter after that. Not to mention him being a cancer in the locker room

Than Fromm?

Agree to disagree

Dawgs have to show out better in dime defense in 2020. Auburn and A&M successfully put pressure against our prevent. LSU (with the help of Burrow) carved it up as well.

Florida, for some reason, took the underneath stuff and never threatened us in the win. Congrats to Trask for taking what the defense giveth.

Our squad is really pretty thin in some areas. Drink will have his work cut out for him year 1.

LB-Nick Bolton is the best LB in the country. Limited experience next to him though.
RB- Rountree, Badie and newcomer Elijah Young will form a very good unit
DB- Bledsoe and Gillespie are a pair of SR safeties and both could get drafted. Lost 2 of our top 3 corners though. Freshman Ennis Rakestraw could push for a starting spot
WR- This was a weak area last year, but added two grad transfers the staff is high on in Hazelton and Chism. Bannister is a good slot. Couple of RS FR in Boone and Massey that look to have high upside. Jalen Knox is a guy both staffs have said has elite ability but he’s been wildly inconsistent so far. Could move to the slot
TE - Parker Jr is a great blocker. Good hands, avg athlete. Niko Hea is big and athletic. Limited experience here though
QB- Have two 4* QB with some starts but neither one has really done it yet. Most think TCU transfer Shawn Robinson will be the starter, but I actually think Connor Bazelak will be the guy.
OL- Lost quite a bit. Return a couple guys who have started some games, but essentially will be 4 new starters. Did add the top grad transfer C though.
DL- our DE position sucks, frankly. Decent against the run but they can barely generate any pass rush. Better on the inside. Whiteside is a NFL player and Akial Byers can be disruptive for

Going to be tough with the both sides of the LOS being your weakest units
