nb4 everyone ranks Bama number one.

1.Alabama. We are our worst rival. If we play to the fullest, we always win.

2. Auburn. I wish the rivalry wasn't so bitter but that's how it goes.

3. Whatever game decides the sec west is our biggest rival.

It's an old ACC rivalry with a huge story with why we left the ACC in the first place. Gamecocks still hate the Tarheels even though they barely play anymore.

Don't really care what the UNC fans think. Never talk to any.

I really can't stand the thought of losing to GT and that's why I put them number 1. That said, I get way more pumped the days leading up to UF and AU and get happier when we beat them than I do when we beat GT.

Basically South Carolina left the ACC because of favoritism to the North Carolina schools. Clemson was supposed to leave as well but bitched out. Both South Carolina schools were "teaming together" to get some answers.

South Carolina was the only one that went through with it.

South Carolina and North Carolina was a pretty heated matchup back in the day, but that was before my time. I'm afraid I can't offer much more insight than this.

I know recently South Carolina had a Home/Home with UNC in 2008 and 2009. UNC backed out last minute to play LSU. They tried to get out of coming to Columbia until we finally played them to open the season last year.
