Now that Carolina is beginning to contribute something to the SEC, my favorite rival is who we place next (except for Georgia).
I just love riding by Willy B and see names like Tennessee, Bama, Auburn, LSU, etc., on the marquee.
Maybe because I am one of the older posters on here, I never take the SEC for granted. Those 20 years in the "wilderness" were hell. Oh, we had some good ballplayers, but never enough at one time. In the SEC, you better have 55-60 ready to play, or you are going to lose more than you win.
The SEC is the pinnacle of college football and I love being a part of it.

LSU:
Bama- The Big Game with the most on the line in recent years (plus the Saban/Miles factor)
Ole Miss- My parent's generation would rank them #1
Auburn- That game is normally close, still pissed about '06 "Grand Theft Auburn"

2 Texas A&M (SWC)
3 Ole Miss ( great rivalry 60's 70's)
4 LSU kinda forced the rivalry but we have had some good games before and after we joined the sec.
5 Tenn. only because they look like Texass
6 Kentucky basketball only
7 Bama by default. Nothing really against them because win or lose on Monday our fans will go back to buying for Wal Marts in Alabama and their fans will go back to stocking it.
8 Auburn see above except the Auburn Alum will go out and pay extra money to get their stockboy to go faster than the one that wears the Bama shirt.

some teams have two rankings, such as Ole Miss for example.
ranking 1. team you most want to beat: LSU
ranking 2. team you don't want to lose to: State
