Obviously Bama and UGA for Auburn.
Will be interesting to see if AU-LSU hangs around as sub-rivalry going forward.
Auburn always tends to have a temporary fringe rivalry with a non-Big 6 school too:
A&M hated us for a bit because they were trying to get a pat on the head with Bama - this has died off I think.
Arky wants to be our rival every few years, but if anything I think AU people view this as a one way street in football (Arky toward us) although we get into the action on basketball now.
I don't think Auburn fans have any real passion toward Ole Miss, but the Hugh connection and the Lane stuff, combined with Ole Miss being reasonably good, might make for some interesting storylines.

For Alabama, "as it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end, amen"... Auburn and Tennessee.
BTW, if you have to list 7 teams as rivals, they really aren't. It requires hate on both sides and nobody hates that much. Alabama - LSU is a huge game every year but there is more (grudging) respect than hate.

FSU and UGA are 1A and 1B depending on who you ask. I'd say UGA is #1 currently for obvious reasons.

As we have no true rival according to the SEC rant, I’ll let the other fan bases define our list;

If Arkansas and Mizzou was such a “rivalry,” then why weren’t we rivals for decades already? We weren’t.
Arkansas fans largely couldn’t care less about Mizzou, except from Arkansas fans that live on the border or in the state of Missouri.
It’s just some made up story the SEC gave us as they took away our Black Friday game with LSU.

Arkansas fans don’t like Auburn because of Gus and Pearl. We consider Auburn just a slimy disgusting place.

Kentucky seems like the rivalry for Mizzou that will come along the most naturally in this conference.

It was never a rivalry when I started following Mizzou. OU & Nebraska dominated Mizzou for 20 years. Not until Brad Smith did it swing the other way.

It’s what happens when you add non-fits to a superior conference. Sadly, they border you and sec said, “hey, make this work”.
And their posters, here all agree that their two biggest rivals are Kansas and Illinois.
That says “basketball school” to me.
And I am glad a Missouri poster created this thread to where he and his buddies agree that Illinois, Kansas, Nebraska are their rivals.
Could you imagine if I started that thread and said those three were their rivals? They would be a madder’n a kicked over fire ant pile.

But I’m pretty sure that the majority agree that two basketball schools and has-been football program are their rivals. Sad.
