Be careful with hiring a mediocre recruiter on the OL.
Amen
You would think Boom's time in g-ville would've taught Gator fans that simple lesson.
I know Boom learned the lesson. He ran Elliot's arse off after one season the moment The Wolf became available.
I've heard mUSChamp himself say the worst mistake he made at Florida was not recruiting well along the OLine.

The '11 defense was actually pretty stout vs the run
Agree to disagree.
'11 was like his time at Louisville and Miss St. He crushes the bad teams. But we gave up 30 and 40 in all 4 of our losses. South carolina and Vandy ran for 200 and 2 touchdowns. LSU ran all over and through us that 2nd half.
It is the roller coaster ride that I laugh at Louisville and Miss State fans for enjoying (enough great games to rank well nationally, but enough bad games to wreck a season on the defense alone).

His track record at LSU
I doubt there's a single LSU fan that can say anything...good or bad...about BG's time in Baton Rouge.
It's like he was never here.

I love that you hired Grantham. His defenses suck donkey balls.
We can pencil you in as our bitch as long as he is there.

I dont get the hate for grantham. The dude took over one of the worst defenses in the history of our program and made it a top 10 defense the next year. In my eyes he’s an A+ hire

Ummm, was this meant to be a positive or negative attribute? You know he was our passing coordinator, right?
I repeat, LSU's passing coordinator
Under Les Miles, our passing coordinator
Well, at least he wasn't overworked. Right?

Ummmm... You mean the fact he literally did nothing of note at LSU?
Is that B+ a participation award?

let’s just say we wouldn’t have beaten Louisville with Mullen coaching.

Mullen is an A? You sure?

Gonzalez has a pretty decent list of accomplishments...
In addition, the three highest team single-season receiving yard totals have all occurred on Gonzales’ watch. Every individual single-season school receiving record has been broken under Gonzales. The Bulldogs shattered the school record for total receiving yards for a third straight year in 2015 with 4,113. With a young starting quarterback in 2016, they managed to put up the fifth-highest passing total in school history with 2,726 yards. - Pretty good start
At Florida, Gonzales saw seven players drafted under his command, with his crown jewel being a first-round selection of Percy Harvin in 2009. In addition, Gonzales produced seven All-SEC wide receivers in his five seasons.
His work with Fred Ross, Percy Harvin, Riley Cooper,
Deonte Thompson, Reuben Randle, Odell Beckham
Yea..he is absolutely, without question a good hire. He has coached a ton of NFL draft picks, some of the best receivers in LSU, Florida, and MSU's history.
So ya'll can cut the he isn't good nonsense. His resume says he is a damn good WR coach.

You must have loved our staff last year as well.

Seider is a good coach. UF's Rb's his first year improved a ton. Before injuries hit Davis. Warren seems like a very strong hire as well. Knox is a very good recruiter.
