Maybe it’s just me but I am not that high on Pickens as some are, I think he is a solid receiver but I don’t even think he is the best on his team.

I’ll say boutte is number one. But Billingsly for bama will be great.

I enjoy the threads

What are you looking for with regards to pass catchers?

Wow factor?
NFL value?
Yards and catches?
Yards per catch?
Tuddies?

We're getting a 6'8" guy from St. Francis (PA), along with their QB....

Jermaine burton will be a good one, he reminds me of tedd Ginn jr

Very, very different style of WR, IMO. Ginn was a one trick pony, although that one trick was elite. Burton is much bigger and more physical than Ginn.

Arian Smith is the best Ginn comparison on Georgia's roster.

I'd argue Burks is the most talented Arkansas football player since Darren McFadden. The other guys I'd consider are pre injury Greg Childs and Trey Flowers.

Knile Davis deserves some love here. I loved watching that dude play.

All of those you said tbh

I also take into account injuries, team playing for, other players on the team, QB, coaching, and just what I think based off what I see with my own eyes (eye test) you could say.

Glad you enjoy the threads.

Arian Smith averaging 43 yards per catch will be an exciting one to watch for 2021. Florida and bama struggled with those speed receivers last year. It would have been interesting to see what Smith and JT Daniels could do against a more legitimate defense.

1. John Metchie- 916 with Smith and Waddle on the team.
2. Treyon Burkes- 820 yards in 4 fewer games than Metchie 6’3 230 SO
3.Kayshon Boutte- 735 yards as a true freshman with 3 different QBs.

The rest are subjective at best guys that were good for their team or in a moment but those 3 proved they can step up and bring something to any team they suit up for.

1 George Pickens: (UGA)

Wasn’t even the most productive WR on his team. Looked a bit lazy at times and like a world beater at times. His negative reputation is overshadowing his skills.

Pickens blew up once Daniels took over.

In the four games with Daniels starting, Pickens' stats were:

Miss St: 8 catches, 87 yards, 1 TD

SCar: 3 catches, 25 yards (Georgia ran for 350ish yards that day and Daniels only had 16 pass attempts)

Missouri: 5 catches, 126 yards, 2 TD

Cincinnati: 7 catches, 135 yards, 1 TD

He had half his yards in the last 2 games. Outside those he was Meh. Those 25 yards at UofSC and Burton doubling him against MSU show inconsistency after pedo bear took over.

Pickens actually had more catches than Burton did vs MSU. Burton had a frickton of yards because he was getting open deep. That shouldn't be a knock on Pickens.

Look who was QB when you are looking at his numbers.

JTD is the presumed QB next year and he throws to Pickens almost automatically.

'When you throw a 50/50 ball to George, it's really an 80/20 ball' - JT Daniels

He was close to a Darren McFadden. 5-11 230 4.3 speed. Petrino took a chance on him when got hurt in high school while other schools stopped showing interest. Led the SEC in rushing and yet didn't play the whole year. Then he got hurt again in the fall of 2011. That destroyed our chances of winning the SEC that year. He returned the next year in 2012 but still playing hurt.

It wasn't until when the draft came around that he was fully healthy.
