I've been to most of them, only a couple I haven't been to. So here's my rank based off personal experience. I'm excluding Texas A&m and Mizzou, because their schools are not in the south east US, thank you.

1. Athens
2. Nashville
3. Oxford
4. Tuscaloosa
5. Baton Rouge
6. Gainesville
7. Fayetteville
8. Auburn
9. Columbia
10. Knoxville
11. Lexington
12. Starkville

I swear, it seems like everything in Georgia is pretty. Everywhere I've been in Georgia is absolutely gorgeous...like even the ghettos.

The bold are places I've personally been. Like someone said, outside of the university there is literally nothing to Oxford.. I'd take Fayetteville over it in a heartbeat.

People flame Arkansas all the time, and deservingly so. Though when it comes to a great campus town Fayetteville, AR is quite nice.

If by Columbia you mean Missouri then add that one in places I've been too, and would take over Oxford.

Out of the towns I've been to:

1. Athens- I don't like UGA's campus, but Athens is a great town
2. Nashville- has nothing to do with Vandy however
3. Fayetteville- nice town, kinda in the middle of nowhere, not that that's a bad thing
4. Tuscaloosa- it's a completely different place than it was 3-5 years ago.
5. Lexington
6. Oxford- there's just not a lot going on there outside of the University
7. Auburn- sort of the same story, but a really nice town nevertheless
8. Starkville- it's not that bad
9. Baton Rouge- LSU's campus would be much higher in my list, but that's not what the thread's about
10. Knoxville

ETA: I forgot Lexington

Be honest, have you actually been to any of these towns?

The absolute only thing I agree on is Athens.

I haven't been to most SEC towns recently enough to give an opinion, but I know Fayetteville is a great town.

Since I can only rank the ones I've been too:

1. Auburn
2. Nashville
3. Tuscaloosa
4. Baton Rogue

5. Starkville

Enjoyed all of them except Starkville.
