I wouldn't want to live in any SEC state preferably. Want to move out to California where a good buddy of mine lives. My brother's former band mate just up and moved to LA on a whim this month and I really respect that, but I could probably never do it. I would've considered it if my friend wasn't married.
Move to Texas. Much better than California.

Don't understand so many getting upset about other's personal preferences and opinions. Defeats the purpose of the thread.

LA is fricking terrible. If you are going to move to California move to San Diego, San Fran, or a million other places before moving to LA. That is all

Depends, from Newport up to Santa Monica, I could stand it. Agree with San Diego but I have no desire to move to San Fran.

I've been to LA twice.. really enjoyed it. My friend does live in downtown though near Dodger stadium so that might make a difference. Well he did, he did just tell me the other day he moved to Venice, which was also awesome.

Out of the 50 states and the District of Columbia, this (in no particular order except for keeping the same #10 and #11 and putting Louisiana at #1) would probably be my bottom 11.

So. I disagree with the premise. LA is awesome. Absolutely awesome. One of my favorite places to visit. Manhattan Beach up to Santa Monica is amazing and nothing in the state is better than Malibu. But... Knowing people that live there... Unless I wanted to live in Koreatown and share a tiny arse house with three Asian bros, or live on someone's couch, it's damn near impossible to make it work. And the traffic is so horrendous it's not worth it to live far from the beach, so your options are limited. Anaheim, for instance, sounds miserable. It's extremely cost prohibitive. Which is true for San Fran as well, and San Fran's weather sucks. You're right about San Diego that would be my top target for living in California, but if I had the money, I'd live near Manhattan Beach and be super happy.

I'm a 5th generation Texan. I love Texas deeply. It's where I most want to live.
But Arkansas is a beautiful state, and a great place to live. If you live in Arkansas and still place it that low, you're doing it wrong. Maybe your in southeastern Arkansas.

Honestly I have no issues with any of the SEC states. All have their own beauty. Big difference when you talk about entertainment and quality of life around you.

South Carolina is more of a Peach State than Georgia is. We wipe the floor with them in peach production. UGA, bunch of posers.

I hope all y'all put Alabama last. I have lived in several states. Alabama is turrible I tellya. just turrible. Y'all stay away, ya hear? Don't move here. Especially Baldwin County. It is backwards, and we don't have running water or a sewer system. Yep, we decorate our outhouses. PLEASE don't move to Baldwin County, Alabama. Stay away. I mean seriously, you can't drive anywhere. Land is expensive. We are always inundated with visitors from New Orleans, Atlanta, Birmingham, Jackson, Memphis and everywhere in between. Please go home and stay there.

You can have your peaches... Along with your trailer parks, terrible roads, obesity and horrible education.
