A&M definitely feels like the one with the most upward mobility. If 2-3 of their freshman figure it out by game 5-6 and can be in a rotation with the guys they already have, that is going to be a terrifying group by the end of the season.

Turner, Jackson and Adeleye is already a really good group. Then you have all those freshmen who just have to be good enough to give you 10-15 snaps a game at full rest and speed and man, that's tough to deal with.

Got the makings of "transfer portal" hell, IMO

Can you elaborate on that or are you just speaking out of your arse?

#2 Alabama

They did hold Tennessee to under 200 yards rushing. So there's that.

Our d line is average, have not recruited well there. Then you throw in the Peter Golding factor.

On paper, LSU’s DL should be excellent. I have no idea how it stacks up with UGA or anyone else though.

How is Maason Smith doing? I don't see LSU much and I remember he is one we were really wanting.

Tore his ACL first series of the year celebrating a BJ Oljauri play. All he did was jump in the air and when he came down he was out for the year.

Ouch! Sorry to hear that. I think Malcolm Mitchell did something similar celebrating a TD by Todd Gurley several years ago.

Makes you wonder how long coaches will let the kids do all that jumping around and celebrating.

Thanks for answering!

Players who have played on A&M's DLine this year, ranked by how good they are right now:

1. McKinnley Jackson. He's a stud DT. He's only played one game, and he made a difference.
2. Fadil Diggs: Soph DE who balled out against Bama.
3. Shemar Stewart: True freshmen DE who is gonna be a difference maker.
4. Shemar Turner: soph DT. He's been hurt some this year, but manages a ton of tackles from the DT spot.
5. Isaiah Raikes: Junior DT. Solid experienced player inside.
6. Walter Nolen: True freshmen DT. A force inside, and just different athletically, but still seems a little lost.
7. LT Overton: True freshmen DE who is going to be a force, but needs to learn to play with more aggression.
8. Anthony Lucas: True freshmen DE. Very strong, very athletic, looks a little lost at times.

Tunmise Adeleye: Starting DE as a redshirt freshmen, but hurt early and hasn't played enough to get a bead on.

Gabriel Brownlow Dindy: True freshmen who has been hurt and hasn't played

cfbstats. conference play rush yards per attempt

This definitely supports an argument. Especially after playing Gibbs.
