Random SEC players that annoyed you every time your team played them

I don’t necessarily mean guys that were studs that went off against everyone, I mean more guys that were just always a thorn in your side every time your team played them even if they weren’t star players.
I was rewatching LSU-Florida 2019 and freaking Lamical Perine was impossible to tackle for many years against us. My friends and I even made up the term “Perining” to describe plodding RBs who pick up 3-5 yards every carry and always seem to annoyingly fall forward.

Henderson with Ole Miss and nothing else comes close for any of us.

Lamical Perine
Was a solid RB.
His highlight run at UF. Crowd noise is nice after the 2nd missed tackle.
Also my fav throwback uniforms.

We only played him once but it was enough. Kevin Harris of South Carolina ran for 243 yards and 5 touchdowns against Ole Miss in 2020 and they somehow lost.
Another random one was Arkansas RB Dennis Johnson. Had back-to-back 160+ yard games against Ole Miss. He only had one other 100+ yard game in his career, against G5 Tulsa.

Tech QB George Godsey from the late 90s.

Anytime LSU plays an in-state school they’ve always got a white guy with a Cajun last name giving us trouble. Doesn’t matter the sport but there’s always one of them.

Beat me to it by about 20 minutes....
Damn Matt Jones too. He was like Cam, legs so long he didn't look like he was moving very fast until he just ran away from our DBs.

I swear Andre Debose returned a kickoff for a TD vs LSU for like five straight years.

Tyler Watts from Alabama. In 2001, he was 20 of 25 passing for 231 yards and rushed for 152 yards on 22 carries. Bama still somehow lost that game 37-36.

I believe he had a KR TD in 2010, caught a bomb for a TD in 2011 and a PR TD in 2014 against us. He probably fits this more than Perine.
Likewise though Jaray Jenkins had probably 12 or so career TDs for LSU and 6 of them were against Florida.

John Bond, the QB for Mississippi State. (80, 81, 82, 83)
LSU never beat MSU with Bond at Quarterback running the Wishbone.

quote:I remember those days. John had hands huge to handle the contact of the triple option and his vision and decisions were uncanny. Ole boy couldn't hit a tight end at 10 feet with a pass though.

He was a former DB out of high school and switched to RB.
One of the toughest runners in program history.
Unfortunately he has been in and out of jail due to drugs.

I'm convinced he snorted cocaine before every game.
