Yep, that's crazy to think about and sad for the impatience or college athletics and fanbases. Every fanbase thinks you deserve a natty after 3/4 years and if you Dont get it the coach has to be trash.

Or at least be in playoff contention come November. LSU hasn't been under Kelly.

Brian Kelly is not the right fit in the long run and he’s getting older. I never envisioned him staying past five years, but he far from earned that fifth year. He did bring stability to the program, which is appreciated. He’s not leaving it in bad shape for a new coach..
And yes, I’m sure Penn State and LSU firing their coaches does not make a Florida fan happy. You thought you were going to be the top job available.

Penn State fired a coach that went 11-2 10-3 13-3 In the 3 years previous. That will be hard to swallow for a coach considering.

ATM came along at exactly the right time. Did us a solid by taking him to the woodshed. Only thing that could have made the loss better is if you had taken a mercy knee at midfield with ten minutes left.

That’s the difference between Florida and LSU. LSU forces coaches to get shite done or they take a hike.

Kelly is arrogant seems to have fake outrage and was an embarrassment to LSU.
That’s a lot considering we had Coach O who barely spoke English and Les Miles before him that knew all the words but struggled to put them in the correct order to make sense

Kelly was never going to win anything, so if LSU was satisfied with 9, 10, 11 wins and never getting hardware, they'd keep him. But they aren't.
PSU is different. They haven't won a title in 40 years. Franklin got them the closest they've gotten to sniffing one. They are going to feel really stupid if the don't get a really, really, good coach.

nope. franklin had been around long enough and it was time for a change. he was stale.
it LSU doesn't get rid of Kelly they end up burning the program down this year and then it takes years to rebuild.

Penn State was kind of dumb to fire Franklin when they did. They are going to end up with someone like Kelly they will want to fire in 2 years again.
LSU probably should have waited. They knew the Florida job was open and they aren't going to get Kiffin so they are going to end up with another Mike Archer
