Want to hear from Aggies and Razorbacks on their thoughts. I could see this game getting really sloppy really quickly.

Hogs love mud.
We can run the ball. Advantage Arkansas.

It’ll help the Aggies more

More fumbles for the hogs…

Aggies like wet slippery men.

I’m going to assume that Arkansas has a good drainage system and that this isn’t a mud game. If that’s the case, I doubt it has much effect on the field. Where it probably will have an impact is on the crowd.

How bad is the weather supposed to be?

A round of possibly severe thunderstorms just before game time, with more rain to follow after that. Could see something like a delayed start, then an interruption later in the game.

If Moss was playing it’s a no brainer, I think the rain would help our chance against the Hogs but he is obviously out for awhile. Our O-Line is stout, it will be interesting to watch how they work with a new running back. Defensively I think we will win that battle, we will force them into 3rd and long and the rain will make it even harder to attack A&M

Actually I think it benefits Arkansas. The Aggies defense relies on edge rushers. They need to get off quickly. The mud minimizes our edge rushers and equalizes the defense. Both passing games will be able to drop back and pass but getting completions and execution will be harder. A&M has a deeper RB room but Arkansas has a few backs too. That’s a wash too I think. So I think the weather limits our defense quite a bit and allows their offense to stay close.
I honestly think it could come down to special teams. If they stop our kick return game they have the advantage because our kicker is struggling.
It could be the difference between a made Randy Bonds kick and a missed one.
There. I said it.

Helps Arkansas. Weather is the talent equalizer

Aggies. Our weakness is passing deep. If it’s a run fest we’ll dominate. Our OL is better. Our DL is better. Doesn’t matter that Moss is out. Owens and Morrow and Smith plus QB Reed will be plenty

Hurts Arky, crowd will probably be much smaller. Not a good idea to plan to drive in NW Arky during thunderstorms.
Wet weather hurts offense which is Arky's strong point. Aggies good with relying on D if they need to.

They run better. We fumble.
Rain is bad for us.

Agree it helps Hogs. Should slow their receivers.
Will also make their new pretty white uniforms get dirty.
