But Ole Miss gave us two of the most notorious basketball players in the history of college basketball in Johnny Neumann and Marshall Henderson.
I was a kid in Oklahoma when Neumann was playing and was really disappointed when Neumann bailed on Ole Miss in the middle of his college career.
On the heels of Pete Maravich... He was well on his way to giving Pistol Pete a run for his records... and that is something everybody wanted to see back then.
Henderson was the most awesome "villain" in college basketball history. He brought pro wrestling to the court. It was great because you never knew what he was going to do. And he was a good enough player that he would have been a "villain" just for that. Never mind the other stuff.
