This is what happens when you pay outrageous amounts for outside players and don’t take care of those that have been in the program and put in the work.

I had the same thought but who knows. There's no downside to him entering the portal. Gives him leverage to negotiate a better deal.

That's crazy!
Highly doubtful that the Rebs have done something to wrong him or that something is off with the team which leads one to think this is a personal issue for the player.
Hopefully something as innocent as wanting to be close to family. Hopefully not something as off putting as wanting more NIL money.

This is the end of CFB. Even star players on good teams are entering the portal. For what? Some extra cash? A chance at a bigger spotlight?
