Quick look at the stars of A&M's best recruiting class ever

Update on the top recruits the Aggies boasted was the best group ever. Wanted to look before more of them had left the program. The sack totals are for the defensive linemen only. The six highly-rated defensive linemen have a total of 3.5 sacks, three less than Harold Perkins. (in order of 247 rating)
1. Walter Nolen - 0 sacks.
2. Shemar Stewart - 1.5 sacks, has looked the best of the DL haul.
3. Evan Stewart - suspended earlier in season, currently out possibly because of concussion but unknown; very talented.
4. LT Overton - 1 sack.
5. Brownlow-Dindy - injured, no recorded stats.
6. Conner Weigman - has looked mediocre, at best, in starts.
7. Denver Harrris - multiple suspensions, will be gone. Apparently driver when PJ Williams (see below) was arrested.
8. Chris Marshall - multiple suspensions, will be gone.
9. Jacoby Mathews - had big game two weeks ago, sat last week for "personal reasons." I'll bet $10 he is at LSU next year.
10. Enai White - 1 sack.
11. Anthony Lucas - 0 sacks.
12. Kam Dewberry - struggled badly in a couple of starts filing in for injured starters.
13. Smoke Bouie - suspended for smoking weed in locker room.
14. PJ Williams - team suspension; arrested for weed.

No one regrets being at A&M more than their most recent class. Mass exodus coming and when it does, Jimbo will blame everyone else. Wouldn’t surprise me at all if he starts ranting about other teams contacting players illegally.

With its first pick in the 2022 Aggie Transfer Draft the University of Georgia selects Overton. He's a beast!

Shemar is a good player, especially considering being a true freshman on the DL in the SEC. Hard to judge a set of freshman DLs sometimes.
Weigman looked good that first game. Getting worse with each start. I think the problem is Jimbo has had a chance to "coach him up" as the starter. Messing up a guy with potential. Ya hate to see it...

It's hard to keep up with the Aggie suspensions. What is your understanding of why Stewart was suspended?

Is that why AU breaks speed records getting to Athens anytime one of our players gets kicked out for not adhering to the Georgia standards? Be careful you don’t run head on into LSU. They like our rejects too

He is not.
Took a helmet to helmet hit from an Auburn defender a couple weeks ago, and hasn't played since. Likely a concussion, but there hasn't been any official word out of the program to confirm that.
